Not sure who you have a backorder with but B&H has them in stock in the store, you just have to ask them to transfer one to the warehouse where it will be shipped out. I saw that they were still on backorder on their site but I called anyway and now have one on the way. I can't wait to give it a try on my D800.

True. You need customer service in the store. They will go very quickly!!!!!!
