Thank you for the balanced answer.

As a pro you can clearly see advantage of most completed body around any sensor. That was the essence of my question.

Navigating through menus of sophisticated tool seems to be impediment for users who are not set out to exploit what given camera body can provide in terms of performance and function. Just to fortify importance of flexibility, features and performance of top of the line cams I would like to notice that pro caliber cameras (1D, D) have no dials on the body at all, yet they are the favorite choice of many pros who put their careers on the line if they not have the right tool to do their job.

Well implemented Foveon sensor in technologically advanced body could be an absolutely amazing thing. Possibly, there are areas where full implementation could not be technically possible but one can always dream...
