The REAL ISO max. is 12,800 for OMD vs 25, 600 for NEX-5R and 6. Better low-light performance.

This is FALSE and an NEX urban legend. What is funny is in the Alpha forum, Sony is getting slammed for the same thing. DxO rates the Sony ISO as lower, but in tests, it ends up being the EXACTLY same. Ther is a thread titled Dxomark "measured" ISO vs Manufacturer ISO. Many NEX posters have shown up to explain why your thinking is false. Please go read that thread.

Even with DxO's measurements, the OMD and NEX 5 are almost exactly the same at higher ISOs, so your claim can be quickly proved false. Sorry, to say that and not picking sides. Just being honest.

I don't know, but on a practical level, you can get noise-free sharp shots with a higher ISO setting on NEX 5R or 6 than with OMD. ISO 3200 is still within the realm of good-quality on NEX.

My theory is that although both systems are 16.1 mpxls, the Sony-NEX pixels are individually twice as big as the m43 pixels, due to the doubled area of the APSC sensor. So FAT PIXELS make for LESS NOISE.
