Oh really? Here I took the time out to backup my statements.

Proof that the Sigma produces a warm slightly yellow/orange color tint.

He even says in the review that the Sigma gives off a warmer tint. This can be a true PITA to get rid of especially if you're going for a neutral look or are working with paid clients.

Personally if I was the OP I'd rather have the Tamron 17-50 non VC for $390 brand new over the Sigma if you can't afford the Canon. Atleast the Tamron doesn't produce a color cast and is actually sharper than the Sigma wide open.
