Converting a photograph from sRGB to Adobe RGB

I normally work in sRGB these days, which I realise isn't the best option for 5d Mk II user, but as much of my workflow is designed for the web I decided to stick with it.

I have a processed TIFF image in sRGB, but a client wants it in Adobe RGB.

Is it literally a case of changing the monitor to Adobe RGB and using the 'convert to' tool in Photoshop?

Or will quality be degraded?

I'm trying to avoid re-processing the RAW file as it took me a while to get it spot on!
