street photography made easy?
Well, if you can live with the AF lag (about 0.6 sec) and small sensor, yes, why not?
In fact, a lot of Canon compacts with swivel LCD are "sneaky photography" ready.
My old S5 does it well too.
For me, a perfect street photography camera need to meet the following criteria:
1) Fast AF (i.e. AF lag < 0.2 sec) so I can capture that expression or event
2) Large sensor so I can shoot under any light condition, such as subway, without worrying about high ISO noice.
3) Small and compact
So far, I've found the Sony RX100 and Nikon 1 system fit my criteria.
