on a big trip like this I always feel I need the additional security of an extra body just in case something goes wrong with the camera ( if just overheating for too much heat on the sensor , which the OMD is certainly prone to do)

Yes, I actually brought my old E-PL1 in case the OM-D broke down but I never took it out of the bag. I was very serious about my preparation for this trip and I didn't want to leave anything that could affect my ability to take good pictures to the chance.
