Re: A99 with Minolta manual lenses

I've heard very nice things about the quality of the rokinon / vivitar / bowers manual focus lenses. (I forget which brand name is the company that actually makes then, but they rebranded and market under various names).

They are manual focus lenses, and I've always assumed (this is an ASSUMPTION) that they have a manual aperture? And thus oughta work old style with whatever your doing that you want this. But have a fairly modern digital coating of some quality along with a computer design, and come ready to mount.

I think the m42 lenses are you next best bet, mount with an adapter and are reputed to focus correctly.
