Photography as an art

Mako, it's not that advancement in technology is a bad thing. In fact, the hunger of newer technologies fuel behemoths like Canon and Nikon come up with newer features and even an entirely new design for cameras like the mirrorless. I'm just saying that our love for camera should not eclipse our love for photography. Camera exists for, and only for, photography's sake. Sometimes, it seems that to some, cameras have more priority than the art of photography. They don't know what Rule of Third is or what Perspective is, but they know the difference between CMOS and CCD sensors. All I'm saying is that photography is more of an art than a science. There's a fine line between the two. Crossing that line might kill the soul of an art.
