Not in my opinion. It takes a few extra seconds in lightroom to fix noise. Try fixing motion blur.

I agree it would be a nice option to have, but don´t agree what you say here. In manual mode just set the desired shutter and f stop and set iso on the conservative side. So if you doubt iso 400 or 800, choose 400. The only risk you run is a slightly underexposure which is no problem in post. Results will be virtually the same when pushing from 400 to 800 or shooting 800. So no extra motion blur without auto iso in M mode.

There is always a moment when you set up your shot where you decide shutter and f stop. It not that much more work to set the iso too at that stage. After that wait and fire away and only adjust if light circumstances change.
