Question about C-print

I would like to get some information about c-print from those who have experience.

I am making a sort of contemporary art using photographic images. I want to print my work in c-print. Why I want to do in c-print is because I see most large sized professional photographs are printed in C-print.

I suppose there are different types of C-prints. But here are my questions.

1. What is difference of C-print from photo printing or inkjet printing? And what are the advantages and disadvantages?

2. What type of files are used in C-printing? Can I use InDesign file made of hundreds of juxtaposed images?

3. What resolution should I make my images? 300 dpi?

4. There is a Korean company that claims to make C-prints. But looking at their product, it looks to me they sandwich a print in between a plexiglass and a panel. Sorry for my inexperience, but is it what is called C-print? You can take a look at this link:

5. What is the price range of C-print in the USA. I am also looking for a printing lab in Virginia area.
