Depending on how often you use the camera. Usually the shutter life is >150,000 clicks so shutter mechanism failure is unlikely if you're non-pro. For me, the more likely failures:

1. Being dropped or bumped (very high chance)

2. LCD flip-screen hinge mechanism

3. Battery

4. IBIS
