Pixma Pro-100 Ink Level Readout
I've no special expertise here. So far, I've pretty much left the Pro-100 "on," with the expectation of printing on it every couple of days, or at least weekly. If I were to know I was going to be not printing for several weeks, I'd probably turn it off. That's pretty much the habit I had with my Epson R1900, but I have absolutely no scientific basis for operating this way.
Thanks Tom. That was my plan. My last HP actually recommended it be left on for routine cycling but I felt it wasted a lot of ink.
I'll try the on/off method and see if it survives.
