After wanting a fast telephoto lens for a long time, I just picked up a 135mm f/2.8 Minolta MC lens from ebay. It is smaller that I expected, and not all that heavy. I decided to get it after spending a few weeks shooting with my recently acquired Minolta MC 58mm f/1.4 and falling in love...

While some kind of focus peaking (Beyond the "OLED shimmer".) would be helpful, I am finding I can do a decent job on my own. These lenses are nice and hefty, with lots of that "quality feel" people like to talk about. Because of that, they reinforce the idea that Samsung made the right decision in going with lightweight polymer construction for the NX100 and a variety of lenses. And what a brilliant piece of hardware the 30mm pancake is... But I digress. The pictures:

Nice shots, I like the fence with the dried up flowers sticking out in the openings.  Did you have to help align that one, or did you find it that way?

I agree with the shimmer, it is mostly gone from the NX20 which makes it a lot more difficult.  Thankfully the viewfinder is a bit higher resolution and I can usually focus from it.  Hopefully with the new processor it will be able to do focus peaking, and hopefully they let you move the magnified focus point with manual focus lens, it annoys me you can only zoom in the center of the frame, difficult on a tripod.

But anyway, old lenses are lots of fun, and nice shots!
