Re: Going on a pilgrimage

On a recent visit to Santiago de Compostela cathedral, I happened to be carrying my camera (FZ150) and took some photographs in B/W (I thought it really suited the scenery) and I produced this particular photograph I´d like to share with you. It was, as usual, packed with pilgrims who walked the way of St. James.



- Santiago de Compostela is the capital of the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain.

The city has its origin in the shrine of Saint Hames the Great, now the city´s cathedral as destination of the Way of St. James, a leading Catholic pilgrimage route originated in the 9thcentury. In 1985 the city´s Old Town was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site -
