Thanks to competition it will be $1200-1500. It is worth $2500 or more if the X100 is worth $1200.

I don't know what to say. I suppose by competition you mean NEX 7 with Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 which runs about $2300 retail, or RX1 which runs about $2800 and lacks a useful optical finder (not counting the grossly overpriced $600 external finder)?

The Ricoh GXR modular plus APS-C 28mm f/2.5 lens unit could be competition, and it might run about $900 for the pair.

There really is no direct competition to the X100. When the original X100 was released a couple years ago I said to myself, I would buy that for $700, imagine my surprise when it was about twice that. Coming back to the X100 now I see the price they listed it at is pretty good compared to other cameras with similar function.

However, I think your point is the X100s has a nice set of upgrades to it that should help drive new customers to Fuji. I am very interested in the X100s now.  With the price being about $200 more than the Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 for Sony NEX, it is very tempting for a person to buy this entire camera instead of that lens, and use this as a second body and just slip it in your normal camera bag.  As a wedding photographer or something it would be nice to have a camera like this handy for a quick wide shot when you had a 70-200/50-135mm class lens attached to the SLR.
