Strange that the aperture value does not show up correctly in the exif, but everything else does.  I assume you were using the 50 f/1.8?  Seems like you have fast enough glass.  1/200 is marginal for moving subjects, though.  1/1000 would be better, if you can figure out some way to get there.

I don't think buying faster glass would solve your problem.  Maybe a camera that supports higher ISO would help, but I assume that is probably not what you want to do.

Possibly the best thing you could do for your pictures is to study composition, and plan your shots better.  Choose your shooting angle to eliminate the crowd in the background as much as you can.  Leave space in the direction of motion.  Rule of thirds, etc. etc.
