Has anyone tried this with straight manual lenses (Minolta MD lens) on he NX10? I've seen in some of the NX camera modes you'll get a "Check Lens" error.

I don't have any Minolta lenses but it works with any adapted lens.  You just need to press the ok button to initiate it.  I am using a Super-Takumar 55mm f1.8 with an M42 adapter and a Pentax A series 70-210 f4 with an NX/PK adapter.

The "check lens" error happens when the adapter does not close the lens detection contact on the camera, so the camera thinks there is no lens attached.  Some cheap adapters are not very well made or do not fit precisely.  The adapter flange may be too thin to press the lens detection contact.  This can often be cured by applying some tape to the flange at the appropriate position.

Also: those who have upgraded to the NX11 FW, is it still working, no regrets?

No problems with mine so far.  Someone mentioned that the version of Samsung Raw Converter supplied with the NX10 no longer works with it once it becomes an NX11.  The software shows "unsupported camera".    This is easily overcome by downloading a later version of Samsung Raw Converter from the Samsung site:   http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/EV-NX11ZZBABCA-downloads   Click on the downloads tab and then select "software" from the menu at the left.  I downloaded version 4.0.4.0 wich seems to be for the NX20 but also works for the NX10 and NX11.
