photos: GRD4 testing NIK HDR 2

I decided yesterday to test drive the new NIK HDR software to see if it was worth the upgrade price of $45 or so.  They have a 15 day free trial with no limits or watermarks or such stuff, so here are three images I shot and processed yesterday from my GRD4 using three RAW exposures with two stops between each.

Saguaros with railroad and mountains in the background, early morning light.

Sunlight just breaking over the mountain, processed to give a kind of "vintage" feel.

A northwest facing hillside covered with brittlebush and the Union Pacific train headed eastbound in the background.  In another month or two these brittlebush will be covered with bright yellow flowers.

I'm curious to hear any comments on the HDR work (or any other thoughts).   These were processed in NIK HDR 2 and then had additional finishing work in Lightroom 4.2.
