Best Places to shoot Big Island Hawaii?
Black beaches are fairly black.
Green beaches are a dark olive color-- green, yes, but not bright green.
The Big Island has so many places to shoot that I don't know where to begin. See if you can rent a boat and get the lava falling into the ocean. Just don't get too close-- I met a guy who caught his boat on fire (he had the photos to prove it). The whole island is gorgeous. Take your time and explore. Find things you like. It's kind of futile, IMHO, to try to copy postcard shots. Many, many unique opportunities-- you'll find them! Good shooting, bruddah.
