I just purchased a Sigma 50 F1.4, I did a few test photos, I can't tell any major difference between it and the Nifty fifty. I read that there are good and bad copies of these lens and would like to know what's the best way to find this out. Tried to google it but nothing much came up. Any suggestions?

Pretty simple really - take some photos...

id start by assuming that it is good and going from there. If you find something that you are unsure about, post back and let's take a look. Remember technique and keep the shutter up (relatively) high.

enjoy your purchase, it is a terrific lens..
