I got the Canon ICC(MOAB Colorado Gloss Canon9000.icc) from http://moabpaper.com/icc-profiles-downloads/canon/canon-pixma-pro-9000/ and used it here http://www.iccview.de/content/view/4/8/lang,en/ and the results shows that sRGB does not cover the entire print gamut



Even Adobe RGB is not enough!



But ProPhoto RGB is



So, get a wide gamut monitor like the NEC MultiSync PA241W-BK-SV and work in ProPhoto RGB to get most of your printer.

Right now the NEC PA is the best bang for the buck in PRO monitor class
