Cleaning the focusing screen.
Does anybody still use a Nikon F4 camera? Because when I am seeing through my Nikon F4's viewfinder it seems very dirty but I don't know if the reflex mirror or the focusing screen is dusty. I use a J type focusing screen. I have only one lens, so I am unable to check if the lens has any dust or fungus inside. How to check that as well? Can I wipe the focusing screen with a cotton using a normal perfume? Or how to properly clean the mirror and the focusing screen? Nikon service centre in U.A.E. is not doing the servicing of film cameras anymore. Thanks for your answers.
It is the focusing screen. Dirt on the mirror will not be in focus.
