Failed shooting-star night
SO, yesterday I thought I'd see and capture some shooting stars. I didn't have any luck with that, but instead I took some long exposure shots with the Sigma 8-16 and K-5II.
Since I wanted to get the town and the sky in one shot, I went extreme. f/16, ISO 80, 36minutes. The downside is that not many stars are visible, only the bigger ones.
I still had to do some selective highlight reduction (which I did quite bad in this picture) of the lights below. But it got me to see how bad the lens flare is on this lens for this type of shooting.
