It might very well be, but I suppose lenses will be the problem (as is already somewhat the problem with APS-C). Now Sigma and Tamron deliver quite some lenses for Pentax, but if they will do so for even rarer Pentax full frame camera's is questionalbe.

Full frame advantage could be higher reolution and better low-light performance, but both are not easy to improve considering the K-5. The useful old lenses might be the AF-ones, others are more for 'nice to play with' and might not deliver the resolution such a sensor demands. So it will be a difficult story, and the costs will be very high to deliver any advantage over the K-5, without loosing too much of the appealing weight and size features.
