Lady Baltimore

I believe, I posted this story once already. However, let me repeat it, if so.

Her name is Lady Baltimore. She was shot in the beak, left eye, and one wing which made her incapable of caring for herself in the wild. After recovery (even her beak was repaired) she lives now on top of the Mt. Roberts in Juneau, Alaska helping raising money for other injured wild animals.

The first shot was taken right after her last break when she enjoyed the bath.

Maybe this is the way to go with your injured bird: build some decent shelter, show it to people, raising some money for other injured birds and animals, and educate them about birds, nature, and human cruelty, keeping the bird happily retired (if it's ever possible)

She owns a small cabin and entitled to three breaks a day to rest off the public eyes.
