The shutter speed at 1/8 sec is a little surprising to see in your EXIF data. This aside, you've captured an interesting frame. The contrast and detail in the fireplace is very crisp and detailed. I wonder how old this is and what the story is behind the house that once stood there? Anytime an image makes you pause and wonder.... it's a good image

I don't know how old this structure is. All I can say is that it is within Lincolns New Salem State Historic Site which is just outside Springfield, IL. There are two of these within the surrounding woods, this one and another one where the fireplace has crumbled. My guess would be early to mid 1800's. Thanks for your comments!
