Color problems with a file... is it me?

I entered a photo in a current DPReview contest. Because I am traveling and only have my laptop, I had to fetch the photo I wanted to enter from the "cloud" in google+ (original is on my desktop HD). The jpeg image I DL'ed from g+ had originally been worked on in Lightroom and saved in sRGB. I added a frame and text in Photoshop (to comply with contest rules) and re-exported from LR in sRGB. The colors looked fine in both LR and PS , but looking at exported jpg in my default laptop photo viewer (Fastone), the colors looked very washed out.

Upon uploading to DPReview the colors again looked fine in the small and medium thumbnails:

BUT when I blow up the image by clicking the Full Size button, I get the washed out version again:

Does everyone else see this discrepancy? If so, what is going on with this crazy file? Has it been reprocessed by google and embedded color profile is messed up?

Thank you.
