After using Macs in my graphic design and photography classes, I couldn't get away from them fast enough. Admittedly this was during the nadir of Mac's existence (mid to late nineties) when even Umax was making Mac clones.

To say they were slow and buggy would be charitable. I remember one horrible afternoon, spending hours upon hours trying to get a final project (worth half my grade for that class) to print out -- only to see that stupid little bomb icon. Again and again and again. I invented numerous new combination of curse words that day and swore if I ever got out of school with my sanity intact I'd never touch a Mac again.

Self edit: I spent two paragraphs ranting on the PC/Mac thing and being particularly unkind to those with MSS (Mac Superiority Syndrome), but honestly, who gives a rat's ass? Use what suits you and be happy. I do and I am.
