Anyone here use an expodisc or similar item to set proper White balance? If you do, how does that work or what do you have to do to a 7D?

Better yet, consider shooting in RAW, which all but eliminates the need for an expodisc or other such tool. You can set WB during post processing by keying the WB to any white or neutral gray object in the frame. Lacking such a object in the field of view, you can take a quick test shot using paper or a gray card at the beginning of your sequence as long as the lighting doesn't change. I've been shooting RAW from the 10D on and have never had issues with properly setting WB.

Since it's just metadata does it make any difference ?  I set it to daylight or tungsten and do

any fine tweaking in post.

In the beginning was the rhythm but I had forgotten and was waiting for the beat.
