Flash triggers needed with D700 and Calumet travelites?

I'm new to studio lighting and just bought some lights (2-750s, and 1-250 Travelites by Bowen) and umbrellas and reflectors on eBay.

While I know that the commander mode on the D700 will fire the flashes, I would think that I'd want to use a flash trigger (leaning toward Yongnuo RF-603, http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-Wireless-Trigger-Shutter-Transceiver/dp/B004YTCNJY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2RIWQ1TUKBXHH&coliid=I11H5R6B39BFYF) so I wouldn't get light pollution from the on camera flash.

I would like to hear others' thoughts and opinions, and resources/sites to recommend to get up to speed with my lights,
