Basic setup for photographing glass?

That's a little more like what I get to deal with. (I'll bet that piece would look pretty cool against a dark background!)

I just pulled the trigger on an Arri 150 Fresnel. I chose it for durability and the narrow main lens opening. (I know 150 watts sounds puny but I'm working in very tight quarters.) Of course, the price of the actual light got quickly dwarfed by additional necessities: stand, clamps, arms, barn doors, snoot, 20" 5-in-1 reflector, 24" diffuser, bulbs... ouch. (Hopefully some of my current hardware store hot lights will be compatible enough to fill in as needed...)

I also invested in a geared tripod head - that's been a long time coming.

All this should keep me busy for a while. We'll see whether or not it eventually translates to more online store sales!
