Thanks! That equipment (including the Strobist-standard compact lightstand staple, the Manfrotto 5001B, still fits into a camera messenger bag (seen on table below). The softbox is one of the folding 24x24" deals that works great in the field. But it is more than a casual setup.

Here's the location scouted the evening before at the same time (I decided I wanted to return the next day for more clouds). Not much drama there. But I did like the bare trees in front and evergreens in the back.
