I would recommend that you shoot in raw and be prepared to do some post processing on your shots. Shooting through glass will suck the contrast out of your photos and may impart a tint that looks like your camera missed its auto white ballance. But you can easily correct these problems in post. The original of this shot looked completely washed out and had a gold/brown cast from the tinted window. Lightroom saved the day.
