I was going to recommend a look at Sigma 8-16, and you have it covered.

I would agree, but be aware that this lens will not accommodate filters.

The Sigma 10-20mm is a great UWA lens which does accommodate filters and is fun to use, especially at 10mm.  It is not the sharpest lens on the planet and the distortion can be tricky to correct - much easier to just accept it

However, in spite of its shortcomings, I would still heartily recommend it !!!
