Good capture and I like the background.

I not sure why you used such a high SS. In my experience I've use around 1/125th as a fast SS isn't important, it's how fast the flash is and the flash is faster when set to it's lowest brightness. Though your obviously works, I think you could have used ISO200.

This shot was at 1/125th with the flash on minimum output on an Olympus 620 at ISO200 f18. It was done a couple of years ago, must try some more with my Nikon gear.
