I don't have these models close buy to look at. I figured that there is a few inch area that I would call eye level. A couple inches above would be a stretch and below a little bending over.
I was speaking about a tripod with the legs fully extended and the center column either removed or lowered to the bottom.
I am tending toward the taller tripod even though set up may add a few seconds. At least I could get to the most comfortable height.
I will probably order today along with the Acratech GP head.
