What happens if you select the "STILL" setting? Does it just save all the photos for post processing the timelapse video later?

This for me seems like the most ideal option as you can process the RAW files and do Zooming for "Ken Burns" type effects on your finished product.

If you select "stills", you will just have the photos in whatever setting you choose (custom only). With the other settings, you are stuck using whatever the camera decides is best for sunsets or clouds or whatever (jpeg). This allows for maximum flexibility, though you can do quite a lot of editing with the avi files that the app output. my video was made using the avi
