Just wondering. If you regret your purchase, please state your reason. Many thanks.

There are lots of things that I do not like on my RX100:

The lens has its flaws

macro is soso, no super wide 24mm equ (I have additional screw on lenses for that)

no filter thread (made my own)

no remote control

I do not like the file formats (a bit diificult to copy video files to PC)

the control wheel is not as configurable as I would like it

there are lost fo things that I like, the most important for me are sensor quality and video quality.

Other things are nice, for example the screen, built in flasch with its bouncing option, long latsing battery, etc...

This is why I keep the camera and why I do not regret it.

But it is far from perfect or beeing the "ultimate" pocket camera, other cameras can do other things much better than the RX-100. I had a hard time to decide between Olympus XZ-1 and RX-100, but thze huge difference in video quality let me take the RX-100. The difference in image quality is not noticable in most pictures, only in very dark light at 28mm wide angle I see a clear advantage in the RX-100, in other cases I l sometimes like the XZ-1 pictures better (tele-end wide open, macro,...).

My old Ricoh GX100 had a much(!) better handling.
