12-24 sigma ( no liveview af ) 17-35, 300 f2.8 hsm....

Apparently, not everyone is having issues with Sigma lenses.  That would lead one to believe that Sigma should be able to rechip problem lenses to make them work properly.

I have a number of old Sigmas that won't work well with my d7000 using phase detect AF and Live View is a no go. But, as yet, I haven't bothered to make inquiries with Sigma to have them fixed. I won't do so until I determine whether or not to keep the d7k.  They work just fine on my d3s and d700, so at this point, the d7k is the problem.
