Are you sure? When I was out in the cold a week ago (-10) the display told me that the battery was nearly empty. After a while in a warm pocket it showed fully charged again. The camera worked fine in the cold, anyway. I had a no-brand battery, not Oly original, I may add.

I'm going skiing in the mountains in february-march, sometimes the temperature use to go down to -25 at that time of the year. We'll see what happens!
