Where is digital photography going????

I think this year had a lot of watershed moments in each sector

The mirrorless segment is exploding

The "entry level" FX DSLR is making the "8K flagship" irrelevant

The long overdue cell phone zoom camera is inching towards reality (though I still have beef w/Samsung for not putting a damn PHONE on the Galaxy Camera), slowly tapping the last nail of the P&S coffin into place

Apparently there are a growing # of people who want to pay $700, 800, $1000 for APS-C fixed lens cameras

And finally light field cameras are gaining traction

What do you guys think is coming down the pike? What do you see coming out next year, and what do you think the DP landscape will look like in 5 years?

I think 2013 will be the year a legit full on "cameraphone" comes out (Galaxy Camera 2). I'm hoping for a 2.8 zoom for Sony's E-Mount. I also think we will get the D7100 & D5200. Other than that I have no idea
