It can sometimes be hard to tell on line,  I agree.  But on a large print,  from a good scan or darkroom print....there is something magic in the whole process.

I shoot digital throughout the year. But I only shoot fine art for enlargements maybe a few times a year. I am having a hard time justifying spending $3000 for the D800 or D600 when I have a 6x7 camera which gives me excellent results.

The convenience and spontaneity of the digital for me out weights most or all of the attributes of my 67's. I can never tell the difference between film and digital presented on line unless some link to a rare side by side test.
