Yes, it would have everything that's on your existing hard drive

You'd want to copy all of the partitions on the drive (which it probably defaults to).  It just has the ability to make the target partitions smaller so they'll fit on an SSD (as long as your data files are not using too much space to fit).

Basically, your SSD would then be just like your original installations, including any programs you installed, data files, etc.

IOW, it's a true backup of your existing installation (you're just copying it to an SSD). Their free home version has an "OS to SSD" Wizard that's designed specifically for that purpose (moving an existing system to a smaller drive like an SSD).   See the links in my previous post, which also included a link to a page on how to use that Wizard.

Whereas, if you create a recovery disk using Dell Data Safe, you're basically reinstalling Windows with it instead of copying your exsiting configuration
