Nex 7 Raw & Lightroom, odd colours
I have seen the complaint in the past that jpegs looks a lot better than processed RAW, and it seems like a lot of hard work to get the RAW's to look as good.
I also suffered from this issue until I realized that "Auto Tone" was being set on import. When I reset the Tone to defaults, the RAW looked a lot closer to the Jpeg, and provides a much better starting point for processing.
Can anyone else with the Nex 7 & Lightroom 4.x confirm/deny this?
With my other Sony cameras (including the Nex 5), RAW with the default tone settings looks pretty bad. I _speculate_ that Sony's "new" Raw is in fact processed and we are getting the old equivalent of 'Tiff' setting out of the camera, instead of untouched raw... but this is just a wild guess.
