If you're also considering a variable ND filter, you should look at the light & craft filters, their variable ND filter has a larger front filter size than it does on the back, so you'd need a slightly larger CP to fit it. They do this to prevent vignetting, very clever imho.

Also, if you're considering the 10-24 next year, its filter thread will be 72mm, so if you buy that lens, you might be better to buy larger filters now, and use a step up ring, that way you'll be able to use the same filter on all lenses. I have a both screw on and square Lee filters at 77mm, so i just bought a step up filter from 58mm to 77mm.
