Rx100 vs Nikon J2 & 10mm prime

Hi all,

I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm looking for a point and shoot backup for my DSLR. It will mainly be used in doors and out on family days. It needs to be good at low light, very quick AF, Image quality as good as i can in budget, shooting raw, with access to controls to play with now and again.

I've narrowed it down to the Rx100 or a Nikon J2, swapping the kit lens for the 10mm prime. I don't mind having the slightly larger bulk of the Nikon and price wise i can get them both for the same cost.

Print wise i usually do A4's and sometimes A3's from a pro9000.

One last thing, it would be good to have the 'green' easy button for the kids/parents etc, to pick up and use now and again.

So, which of the two would recommend?

Oh and other half has a panny GX1 that i've built up her lens's for, so adding lens's to the Nikon isn't an attraction for me (aside from the 10mm prime.)

Thanks all.

PS wil be putting this on the Nikon 1 forum for their view too.

Nikon 1 J2 Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 Sony RX100
