D800e & 70-200 VR II at the Zoo and one OT observation

For your interest here are some photos with a stellar combination, the D800e & 70-200 VR II (hand held as I rarely use a tripod).

It was an unseasonably warm and snow free mid December day, perfect for a three hour walk in this park that is the Toronto Zoo to see the animals still on display outside.

Also at the URL above are some other recent photos with the D800e & 70-200 VR II combination.

Comments or suggestions? I have been shooting for many years and posting daily to my photoblog. I find just getting out daily is the best way for me to learn and improve, sometimes very slowly so I am always appreciative of feedback.

OT. I have also used the Fujifilm X10 as my belt case carry anywhere camera for times when I did not wish to carry a larger body camera. I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with this little gem.

It has served me well for a year even in a week in Rome as only camera

... and since June with the new generation sensor as Fujifilm replaced the original camera
