question about NX sensor performance (exposure time dependence)

Hi all,

Might be a bit off topic, but... I have the subjective perception that the image quality on my NX200 for a given total exposure is very sensitive to the duration. i.e. if I'm at f/3.5 S=1/120 ISO=1600 with 6 60W incandescent bulbs turned on and then I go to f/3.5 S=1/60 ISO=1600 with 3 60W bulbs, the latter always looks much noisier -- pretend I'm on a tripod and the subject is static

And flash can look "great" up to ISO 3200 in my opinion. Noise-wise, it's always much better than 1/60-ish duration ambient.

Question 1) (on topic) do people find similar behavior in their 20MP NX sensor cameras?

Question 2) (still on topic) is this time-dependent noise a generic/typical behavior for CMOS sensors?

Question 3) (maybe OT) when DXO mark makes their full SNR curves, they do this i) against a greyscale image with constant intensity and change the time to get various exposure levels, or ii) against a changing greyscale intensity with constant time? (I know, they still haven't measured 20MP NX, so that's why this is OT, but I think it's because they are having "issues" with it.)

Thanks
