DoF is not the only factor in background blur, though. With an identical DoF, a longer lens will have a more diffuse background due to the difference in perspective. DoF only tells you within what range the image is "sharp enough", but it won't by itself tell you how blurry the objects outside the DoF will appear.

no it does not

When you enter the data in a DOF calculator with a similar geometry e.g for the 35 mm lens a distance of 350 cm you get 123 cm DOF at f/2.0 - with the 135 mm lens at 1350 cm you get 119 cm (which is basically the same)

in both cases the same photographed object would have the same size - if I remember by mathematics lessons well
